Studio Update: Finished!

This weaving ended up being special for me, one that feels like I’ve brought a little part of my internal world out to live in my everyday life to help reconcile the two. It was meant to be my Christmas gift to Caley but it took so long to finish that it’s now a present to celebrate the New Year. It’s only appropriate, we spend every New Year’s Eve together in the studio working, drinking, and laughing together to set the tone off right for the next year. Caley and I spent a several weeks this season making each other’s gifts and it was a priceless experience. Intently working on projects intended for each other in such a small space sparked a magical mojo in the studio. Hopefully we’ll make it a tradition for years to come!
